  1. Dear Journal Editors:

AERA (American Educational Research Association) would like to send a copy, or multiple copies if needed, of LBGTQ ISSUES IN EDUCATION, edited by George L. Wimberly,(2015) for review in the book review section of GENDER AND EDUCATION.

Here is a brief description of the content of the book:

“LGBTQ Issues in Education: Advancing a Research Agenda examines the current state of the knowledge on LGBTQ issues in education and addresses future research directions. The editor and authors draw on existing literature, theories, and data as they synthesize key areas of research. Readers studying LGBTQ issues or working on adjacent topics will find the book to be an invaluable tool as it sets forth major findings and recommendations for additional research. Equally important, the book brings to light the importance of investing in research and data on a topic of critical educational and social significance.”

If this title is of interest, please advise where to send review copies. This title is available in a paperback edition only.

    Cordially,

  2. How often do you publish in a year? When was your last call for submission of articles? What themes do you accommodate? Do you consider articles which do not include feminist ideologies and just present female related research? I have some research studies on female students, motherhood and pregnancy would you be interested in such topics? My style of writing is very simple and does not include complicated arguments and language as I have seen in a few of the articles published in your journal, can I still submit them?

  3. Hi
We accept submissions for blog posts all year round if you wanted to send in something to be considered for that. In terms of our conferences, we hold one every year at a variety of venues and you are more than welcome to submit an abstract for our conference this year.
